then it was iu world fair, where we cooked (well we made the stuffings) for curry puffs (and the school baked everything else)


we stole some of the awesome aluminum Coke cans. never seen them before really! we had tonnes more, and i mean about 20 bottles underneath the table.

alright. thanksgiving awesome break in the vacation house up in northern Indiana. it was like a home away from home. i envisioned it being a home for us kids, the 11ish of us, living together, splitting the rent, clamoring the for bathrooms, cooking up storms, fighting over little things - okay maybe not for that many of us. but a few definitely.

the semester ending i-core case. 10 days of misery captured in 3 photographs - 2 of utter disdain and misery, another of happiness at the end of it all.



 

you know something's wrong when you fall asleep sitting up. it was pretty amusing on the last day, groups to our left and right were imploding. the americans were basically yelling at the asians saying "at this point, we don't need your help anymore! so you guys can go home" because it was editing time, and asians supposedly had bad english. lucky my group had a good asian then - i consolidated/edited most of our paper. hey it was a group consensus!
 

2008 ending new york trip with 4 guys - with sporadic meetups with 2 couples.

grand central station, first time i've been there in the 3 times i've visited new york. and the best thing was that i went to grand central alone, by mistake, on my way to long island.



kickstarting 2009 with a chicago trip with brother, rish, weiyi and charles.




the chicago "bean" - first time i've seen it at night.


 

never realized how the structure next to the bean (i think its some performing stage thing) looks like one of those monsters from the Power Rangers movie. you know? the one with Dr Ooze, where the beginning scene was THE BEST BEGINNING SCENE of any movie everrrr. the Power Rangers dived out of a plane in snowboard-ish boards! i'm gonna youtube that after this. but yeah, the monsters in that movie.

ashlyn made me and rish a "Happy I-Core" cake. kinda weird but it was nice - nice tasting and nice gesture. the resident twinkie. 
 

 

props to char's innovativeness. she wants a polaroid, and she likes the holga, golgamolga lomography stuff but hasn't got a camera. so she settled on using photoshop. heeeh. i'm sure she'll get those fancy cameras soon.
